As an educationist with over 23 years of experience, I have observed a troubling trend in modern education — excessive spoon-feeding of students. Today, the primary concern of many parents revolves around just one thing: Marks and GPA.

Students often resort to rote learning, cramming information just before exams only to "vomit" it onto the paper, forgetting everything soon after. This cycle leads to shallow learning where nothing is truly retained. As a result, the student's brain is not trained to handle problem-solving, critical thinking, or creative expression. They struggle to make wise decisions or develop original ideas because they are not taught how to think — only what to memorize.

Even though a child's brain is capable of independent thought, it becomes dependent on external help, lacking the strength to engage in the thought-making process. This over-dependence makes them ill-prepared for the challenges of a competitive world.

At UNISON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, we take a different approach. We do not believe in conventional teaching. Instead, we focus on creating an engaging and joyful learning environment where children learn naturally and independently.
